Logo design cost in Dubai

In short

Logo and brand essentials at Alkeme Design start from $1,400 (≈ AED 5,150). The package develops the mark and the agreed supporting variants, colours, typography and practical rules. A written proposal defines the deliverables and fixed price before work begins. This is our studio price, not a Dubai market average or a trademark registration fee.

Logo and brand essentials at Alkeme Design start from $1,400 (≈ AED 5,150). The work develops a mark with the agreed variants and rules it needs in everyday use. The written proposal sets the deliverables and fixed price before the project begins.

If you are comparing logo design costs in Dubai, compare the result you receive. A single preview image and a prepared logo system solve different problems. The difference often becomes clear when you prepare the first print job, website header or small profile image.

What are you paying for in logo design?

The work includes clarifying the brief, developing the sign and preparing it for the agreed uses. The mark should fit the business, remain legible and work in its actual applications. Its visible lines are only part of that process.

The starting point is the offer, audience and intended impression. A design direction is then developed and tested against the planned uses. Variants, files and practical rules follow from those requirements.

The number of sketches is not a reliable way to compare that work. Many alternatives cannot replace a justified decision. Ask how the chosen direction answers the brief, including any Arabic and Latin requirements, rather than evaluating a proposal by its promise of a large design selection.

What belongs in the package?

Logo and brand essentials provide a usable basis for the brand. The written proposal identifies which versions and rules are required for the assignment.

Element Everyday purpose
Main logo Full brand signature on the website and printed material
Compact version A usable arrangement for smaller or narrower spaces
Symbol, where required Recognition in small applications such as a favicon
Colour values Defined use for screen and print
Typography A coherent starting point for headings and text
Short application rules Guidance on space, size and suitable backgrounds

Discuss scripts, file formats and intended applications before approval. The logo design service describes the work; the proposal makes the handover specific.

Paid font licences need separate confirmation for the intended uses. A typeface visible in a preview does not by itself establish the client’s licence to use it across every channel.

Why do logo variants matter?

A wordmark that fits a wide website header may become unreadable in a small circular profile image. A compact version solves that application within the same identity.

Pucca Diana’s documented project includes solid and outline forms, positive and negative versions, and a standalone monogram. The identity was developed for an animated introduction, favicon and printed card. See the Pucca Diana project for the actual applications.

The lesson is not to collect arbitrary versions. Each should have an identifiable job. If both Arabic and Latin signatures are needed, name the relevant formats and test them with the approved wording, rather than treating a second script as decoration.

What changes the design workload?

An established offer and confirmed name provide a different starting point from a business whose name or direction is still open. Clarify those dependencies before estimating the design.

Applications also change the work. A mark used mainly on screens needs different practical tests from one also applied to products, packaging or signage. Use the planned sizes and production methods when discussing scope.

Approvals matter too. Collect requirements from the decision-makers before design begins. Contradictory feedback at every stage adds work without necessarily improving the result. Name one person to consolidate it and establish which decisions require wider approval.

Logo or complete brand identity?

The logo package is a focused foundation. A complete identity extends to imagery, layout principles and the relationships between more applications, with fuller documentation.

Our complete identity costs $4,400 (≈ AED 16,150) to $24,000 (≈ AED 88,150). It can be appropriate when packaging, website, presentations and other materials are being developed together. Plan that scope from the start if those needs already exist.

Apexor illustrates the relationship: its monogram, wordmark and triangular icon form part of a black and electric-blue system used across merchandise and social media. The Apexor project shows the applications. The brand identity service explains the wider assignment.

What else needs a separate agreement?

Stationery production, a complete identity manual and trademark registration are not automatically part of a focused logo assignment. Printing, signage and website implementation are separate tasks too. A logo provides a foundation for them, not finished production for every channel.

Usage terms belong in the proposal. Identify the agreed uses and delivered files. A phrase such as “all rights” is less useful for planning than a clear description of what the business can use and what it receives.

For a UAE business, arrange legal checks for the intended name, sign and markets with an appropriate adviser. Do not substitute registration information from Germany or another country. This article does not estimate legal fees or determine whether a particular mark can be registered.

How should you compare logo proposals?

Ask the same questions of each supplier before making a decision:

  • Which variants are included and what are they for?
  • Which colour and typography information will be documented?
  • What feedback stages are agreed?
  • Which files will the business receive?
  • Which applications and usage terms are covered?
  • Are Arabic and Latin versions required, and are they named in the scope?

A smaller offer may be appropriate for a smaller job. It becomes comparable with a broader package only when the deliverables are set alongside one another. The quantity of mockups does not establish the usefulness of the handover.

Free, self-made or commissioned: which route fits?

A self-made wordmark may be enough for a limited test if you can assess its limitations and the components used. A business trying an idea with a few materials does not automatically need an extensive agency project.

Consider which uncertainties you can handle yourself. Do you have time to select type, prepare files and test applications? Can you assess whether the result expresses the offer? Internal work can be reasonable when those responsibilities are understood.

Route Can fit when Work still to organise
Self-made wordmark A limited test needs a simple signature Type, spacing, variants and exports
Template-based mark The available format suits a simple task Components, editing and permitted use
Bespoke logo An individual mark and coordinated variants are needed Brief, decisions and approval
Complete identity Several applications need one system Priorities, content and rollout

Commissioning design is useful when developing and choosing a direction is part of the problem. A bigger project should answer foreseeable needs, rather than relying only on a general ambition to grow.

What does a single logo concept cost?

A concept is an intermediate deliverable, not the same product as a finished logo package. Clarify whether refinement, feedback, variants and usable files follow or need another agreement. Alkeme Design does not publish a separate universal concept fee.

A presentation can demonstrate a direction while its contours still need work for small sizes. A font may also be provisional. Ask what stage the quoted deliverable represents.

A useful distinction is between a direction for discussion, a developed main form and a prepared package for the agreed uses. It allows a limited assignment to remain clear without attributing later production work to an early preview.

Refinement may fit when the existing sign still represents the business but has specific weaknesses: spacing, fine lines or a missing compact version. A complete redesign may be unnecessary.

Vectorisation is technical preparation of the forms. It does not decide whether those forms are right for the brand. Reconstructing a poor source can take work, so it does not imply a universal discount compared with new design.

Send the best existing file, a photograph or screenshot of the problem and a precise description. “The name disappears on the product label” is more actionable than “make it modern”. That evidence helps distinguish a bounded correction from a broader assignment.

Which files do the printer and website need?

Agree files by application rather than collecting extensions. Scalable vector artwork and a prepared raster image with transparency serve different purposes. The printer may also specify production requirements.

Ask which version belongs on light or dark backgrounds and whether monochrome and compact uses are included. Test actual legibility at the intended size. Enlarging the design on a screen can conceal weaknesses.

A clear handover uses named folders and a short explanation. Someone changing a profile image should be able to find the appropriate file without reconstructing an export from print artwork. Prepared application files are deliverables to specify, rather than assume.

Check at least the intended website header, profile image, a simple print and a one-colour use where required. If the scope includes two scripts, use the approved names in both. A placeholder does not test the actual letterforms.

How do revisions stay within scope?

Feedback is easier to manage when it refers to agreed requirements. Gather the decision-makers’ comments before sending a consolidated response, so the designer receives one coherent task.

Describe the observation before prescribing the solution. “The name is unreadable in the profile image” identifies a problem that can be tested. Requests to make a sign simultaneously larger and less prominent need clarification first.

Agree the boundary between refinement and a new assignment. Changing the business name after wordmark approval is different from adjusting a space. Record additions and their effect on price and schedule before they are implemented.

What does protecting a logo cost?

Design and legal protection are separate assignments. A design price cannot determine registration or advice costs. The intended sign, products, services and markets need their own assessment.

An available domain and a finished logo do not replace legal checks. Decide who organises the review and any registration before the business relies on a name or mark across costly applications.

This guide does not estimate those fees or draw legal conclusions about a design. Keeping the responsibilities separate makes it possible to compare design proposals without overlooking another professional service the business may need.

What should a useful logo enquiry contain?

Prepare the information that can actually influence the design:

  • Confirmed name and any approved descriptor.
  • A short account of the offer and audience.
  • Existing files and features that should be retained.
  • Priority applications with realistic sizes.
  • Required scripts, variants, files and practical rules.
  • One person responsible for consolidated feedback.
  • Timing and dependencies, such as a scheduled print run.

You do not need a completed visual idea. A clear task gives the studio a basis for proposing the form, scope and fixed price. If Arabic naming remains open, identify that dependency instead of presenting provisional wording as approved.

Why are concept count and price weak quality measures?

The number of presented concepts says little about how carefully a direction was developed. A focused assignment can benefit from a few reasoned options; many alternatives may simply decorate the same unresolved questions.

Ask how the form relates to the brief. What requirement does the compact version answer? Why was a typeface chosen? Which alternative was rejected and why? The explanation should refer to the offer and intended applications.

Use shared criteria when deciding. Personal preferences can be discussed without becoming the whole assessment. The mark must be usable by different people in actual materials. If a new concept is needed, give it a clarified reason rather than requesting another option without a new criterion.

From the first conversation to a fixed price

The conversation establishes the business, intended applications and available material. The proposal then defines scope, price and schedule. A preview stage is not the same as a fully approved logo ready for all uses.

Our published logo and brand essentials start from $1,400 (≈ AED 5,150). The pricing page gives the studio offers; the project proposal describes the specific results and approval process. Send your brief with the name, audience and priority applications.

Which cost belongs to which task?

Assign each proposal item to development, variants, feedback, file preparation or an additional application. A wordmark, symbol and coordinated signature system are not automatically the same amount of work.

The handover stage matters too. A screen preview is different from approved files prepared for the agreed uses. Name the variants and formats, keep licences and external costs visible, and compare the actual result each proposal will deliver.

Frequently asked questions

How much does logo design cost in Dubai?

Logo and brand essentials at Alkeme Design start from $1,400 (≈ AED 5,150). The written proposal defines the assignment and fixed price before work begins. This is our published price, not a market average for Dubai designers.

What does the logo package include?

The package develops the logo with agreed variants, colour values, typography and short application rules. The proposal lists the files and applications for handover. Arabic and Latin requirements should be specified before design starts.

Does the price include trademark registration?

No. Design, legal clearance and trademark registration are different tasks. Your business or appointed adviser handles the appropriate legal checks and registration. Their fees are separate from the design price.

What is the difference between a logo and a full identity?

A logo is the brand's sign. A full identity defines the wider visual system and its applications. Our logo and brand essentials start from $1,400 (≈ AED 5,150); a complete brand identity costs $4,400 (≈ AED 16,150) to $24,000 (≈ AED 88,150).

Do I need an Arabic logo as well as a Latin one?

It depends on the audience and applications. Identify the required names, scripts and layouts in the brief. If both scripts are needed, design their relationship together rather than adding an untested Arabic line after approval.

Are editable source files included?

The proposal names the delivered files and agreed usage terms. Production exports, editable templates and original working files are different deliverables; do not assume that one implies all the others.
