How to choose a web design company in Riyadh or Jeddah
In short
To choose a web design company, compare working sites and written scopes. Test real pages on a phone, ask who writes Arabic, establish control of accounts and agree what happens after launch.
When comparing web design companies in Riyadh or Jeddah, the offers may describe different work. A beautiful screenshot does not tell you who wrote the content, built the functions or supports the site. Establish a common basis before comparing prices.
Open working sites on your phone
Ask for three relevant live references. Try the navigation, service pages and contact route with a mobile connection. Check whether Arabic and English both work, rather than judging only a homepage image.
Different businesses need different solutions. Ask the supplier to explain the decisions behind each reference and identify its own contribution. A claimed commercial result needs evidence beyond the design itself.
Ask who writes and checks Arabic
Find out who is responsible for the Arabic copy and its review. Check right-to-left behaviour in menus, forms and checkout where applicable, as well as body text. Agree how terminology stays consistent across the two languages.
For your own content, provide the real services, requirements and exclusions. A designer should not invent an office, a qualification or a delivery promise to fill the layout.
Request a written scope
A comparable offer names the pages, languages, functions, content responsibilities, platform, delivery stages and acceptance checks. It should also explain revisions and what is outside the price.
Ask how the contact route will be checked from submission to receipt. A visible success message alone does not prove the enquiry reaches the responsible person.
Agree who controls what
Prefer a domain registered through an account your business controls. Establish hosting access, code or platform permissions, licences and the handover process. Proprietary platform restrictions and third-party subscriptions should be named before signing.
Keep account ownership separate from a promise to provide support. You should understand the agreed exit and transfer arrangements even if you expect a long working relationship.
Clarify support after launch
Who updates the content? Who handles technical faults? Which changes are included and which are quoted separately? Ask for the support scope and any response commitments in writing.
The comparison should include the operating costs you will actually incur. A smaller build price does not answer the question of maintenance, subscriptions or future changes.
Points to resolve before signing
- A price without an agreed page and function list.
- References that cannot be inspected or an unclear contribution.
- Account control and handover left unspecified.
- No defined test of mobile use, Arabic or contact delivery.
- Unclear ongoing charges or support responsibilities.
These are clarification points, not proof that a supplier is unsuitable. Compare the responses against the same requirements.
